Personally, I'd go for a balance of the two stats. When I'm trying to decide between two pieces of similar stats and had to choose between a small amount of EH vs. avoidance, I'd take the EH. I'm a proponent of the EH group because I feel that predictable and steady damage will ultimately make it easier for your healers to heal.

so when should i stack avoidance stats instead of hp?? im just startin to do 25 man raids and have done heroics with some success.
